The journalist was severely wounded in the attack but died at Madina hospital in this afternoon. At least eight people were killed in this attack.

Another journalist Abdirashid Nur Ibrahim who is also working for Mustaqbal Radio was wounded in this attack which wounded more than 20 people. Luckily, the journalist does not have life-therening wounds but was admitted to a hospital.

“We condemn this murderous attack that claimed the life of civilian people. It is very sad that journalists are among the victims of this cowardly attack which was execeuted to cause maximum harm to the civilian people,” said Omar Faruk Osman, NUSOJ Secretary General.

NUSOJ sends condolences to the family of Mohamed Ali Nuhurkey and wishes Abdirashid Nur Ibrahim an immediate recovery.
